HERBA NATURA’s ORGANIC JUNIPER BERRY OIL
Herba Natura LLC is a manufacturer of organic juniper berry oil. Our organic oil is obtained by distillation of berries from bio juniper berries growing in the most ecological region in the Republic of Macedonia – Malesh Mountains. Collection of berries is exclusively manual, without the use of mechanization, with trained and certified collectors. Berries are dried under natural conditions and until the moment of distillation they are stored under controlled conditions. For the distillation process, exclusively natural spring water is used, for which quality analysis is constantly done.
We are open to cooperation with clients and we offer various opportunities. You can request for a special distillation mode (the time interval of distilling) in order to get the quality of the oil that is specific to your needs. We can provide a specific type of packaging of the oil – different size of aluminum or plastic containers, in accordance to your needs. We can also offer packing in glass bottles of 10 ml, 20 ml, 50 ml, or 125 ml. We also offer you the opportunity to book a part of our production in advance.

JUNIPER TREE
The tree of juniper is easily recognized by the needle-like, stiff, green-blue leaves, tiny yellow blossoms, reddish trunk, and black/blue berries (that are the product of the female trees). The tree’s growth varies and it can reach 6 meters and the twigs emit an apple-lemony scent when crushed.
JUNIPER BERRY ESSENTIAL OIL
Through steam distilling the wood, needles, and fruits (in powdered form) of juniper, one can obtain the essential oil called Juniper essential oil. However, the oil that is extracted solely from the fruits (berries) bears a much higher quality. Herba Natura in the process of production of the essential oil, uses exclusively organic ripe berries, from which the best quality organic juniper oil is obtained.
Juniper Berry oil’s fragrance can be defined as clean, spicy, and somewhat woody, with a pale color and water viscosity. Its relative density ranges from 0.857 to 0.876 units.
Juniper oil’s principal components comprise Alpha Pinene, Sabinene, Beta Pinene, Beta Myrcene, Alpha Phellandrene, Limonene, Terpinene, Bornyl Acetate , Beta Caryophyllene.
USE OF JUNIPER BERRY ESSENTAL OIL
The essential juniper oil is used in pharmacy in the production of certain medicines; in cosmetics for making perfumes, creams and shampoos; but also for the production of one of the most famous alcoholic beverages – Giant. Its application is found in aromatherapy, but it is also used for massage.
Juniper oil with its properties is used for liver problems, obesity, rheumatism, acne, cough, ulcers and urinary infections. This oil is a strong diuretic, and helps in reducing cellulite, stress, problems with memory and muscle pain, and reduce PMS symptoms.
